2009-2011 - worked as a scientific supervisor at the Embryonic Tissue Center, founded by his father Alexander Smikodub Sr. in 1994, and was the head of the Cell Therapy Unit at the Kyiv City Clinical Emergency Hospital.
2011 - Dr. Alexander Smikodub Jr. has restructured his father’s clinical base into a separate clinic with well-developed infrastructure and modern laboratory and named it the Unique Cell Treatment Clinic (UCTC). Since then, he has been CEO and Chief doctor of the clinic.
Education
2002 - graduated with honours from the Medical Faculty #2 of the Bogomolets National Medical University, Kyiv, Ukraine. In the same year started internship in the Central City Clinical Hospital #12, Surgery Department #1.
September 2002 - successfully passed the exams for the Master's degree and was enrolled in the Intermediate Surgery Department #2 of Bogomolets National Medical University.
During his Master degree program, Alexander Smikodub Jr. researched, wrote, defended and published his graduation thesis “The Application of Hematopoietic Embryonic Stem Cells in Complex Posthemorrhagic Anemia Treatment in Ulcer Bleedings”.
2004-2006 - was trained at the clinical residency of the Bogomolets National Medical University on the base of the Intermediate Surgery Department #2.
December 2006 - after successfully passing the exams with excellent marks, Alexander Smikodub Jr. was enrolled in the full-time Post-graduate study at the Intermediate Surgery Department #2 of Bogomolets National Medical University.
During the full-time Post-graduate study, his thesis research “Surgical Treatment of Ulcerative Gastroduodenal Bleedings and Correction of Posthemorrhagic Anemia with Hematopoietic Stem Cells” was approved.
February 2010 - defended his doctoral dissertation and received MD, PhD degree by unanimous decision of the committee.

Author of 32 scientific papers, 4 patents for invention and numerous presentations at International Cell Therapy congresses and conferences.

Can not say enough about this clinic. To start off with, they operate from a 7th floor of the civic hospital building. This is the same place where the great Legend and the inventor of the fetal stem cells Dr.Smikadub Sr. Started his healing to all the people who lost hope in their lives.Currently this is headed and being run by his son Dr.Smikadub Jr who also has pioneered this process.

Our experience here is remarkable, especially the Neurologist Dr.Victoria and her personal approach towards my daughter who has CP and CVI.She did not straight away jump to give fetal stem cells to my daughter and instead ordered additional tests to find more information about her CVI issues and all these tests are covered by the clinic at no additional costs.
Good English speaking staff, they do not sweet talk and butter you to get the treatment at their clinic, they speak straight to the point and do not offer anything extra which is not needed. -
