Dr. Said Mangui has been in dental practice for over 15 years performing surgery on mouth, jaws, and related head and neck structure including the following specialized treatments and procedures: executing complex and multiple extractions of teeth, removing tumors and other abnormal growths, correcting abnormal jaw relations and treating fractured jaws by mandibular or maxillary revision and placing single and multiple dental implants to support permanent dental prosthesis.
Dr. Said Mangui is constantly updating his knowledge in modern dentistry practices and was recently named the best health specialist in Latin America and the Caribbean by IOCIM, award given in Santiago, Chile in April, 2016.

Dental Quito saved my tooth. After two root canals done years ago by two different dentists in the US, multiple crown failures over the root canal, and consulting with 3 NY dentists who didnt want to deal with my tooth and recommended I get an implant quoting between $3,500 -$5,000 , I was at a loss. I was in Quito for work when my crown broke once more and a friend recommended Dr. Said Mangui of Dental Quito Clinic. They told me my root canal was fine and were able to save my tooth saved me from getting an implant for now and were able to customize a crown over my root canal. Seven years later my crown is intact and not had a single issue with it. Since I have had multiple other procedures done at Dental Quito Clinic - including braces to straighten my teeth, a root canal on another tooth, two wisdom teeth extractions and veneers. With their help I was able to achieve my dream of having perfectly straight, even, white teeth and a beautiful smile. I highly recommend Dental Quito Clinic - every doctor at the practice is excellent, the staff is professional and curious, and they take good care of their patient. Plus they speak English and their prices are a lot more affordable than in the US!

Hands down the ABSOLUTE BEST dental practice in Ecuador is Dental Quito Clinic and in particular Dr. Said Mangui. After years of struggle with bad cavities, gingivitis, damage from teeth grinding and poorly done root canals with faulty crowns that constantly broke, came loose or hurt and dozens of visits with dentists all over the US and Latin America, it was finally Dr. Mangui who saved my teeth and helped me get a beautiful smile. I have been a patient for 7 years now and have had countless treatments at Dental Quito Clinic including wisdom teeth removed, implants, root canals, crowns, fillings, braces to straighten my teeth, veneers, cleanings and teeth whitening and have always received professional, courteous and detail-oriented care. Dr. Mangui specializes in implants and maxilofacial surgery but he oversees multiple other treatments with the different dentists who work at his clinic and he was up to date on all my procedures. What surprised me most, the first time I saw Dr. Mangui, is how much time he dedicated discussing every detail of my dental problems and presenting the different treatments and possible options. He is very passionate about his work and has a calm, generous and patient demeanor and I felt comfortable asking him lots and lots of questions. I could tell right away he really knew what he was doing and that I was in excellent hands. The fact that Dr. Mangui is a member of the American Dental Association was another big plus and his multiple diplomas, plaques and awards for his work are pretty impressive! I have recommended Dental Quito Clinic to complete strangers, friends and colleagues and have brought many family members when they come visit from the US. Without exception everyone I know has been very happy with the results and the high level of professional care they received. The Dental Quito Clinic staff is very sweet, several of the team members speak English which is super helpful. I highly recommend Dental Quito Clinic to anyone in need of dental care.
